ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm a junior Microbiology and Cell Sciences major at the University of Florida. I'm minoring in Public Health and Health Disparities, and I plan to pursue an MPH in epidemiology after I graduate.

EXPERIENCE

I've studied abroad and volunteered in local clinics in the Dominican Republic, worked as a lab tech for the College of Medicine, and interned for HealthStreet. I've also been a volunteer at Shands for the past three years!

INVOLVEMENT

On campus, I serve as a weekly volunteer for Dream Team at Shands, I'm involved in Dance Marathon as part of the FTKrew, and this february I'm going on a mission trip to Nicaragua! In my free time I like to read, journal, enjoy the outdoors, and practice yoga.
